These things are all normal to experience with any job but especially the ones we dislike. It’s tough to distinguish if you’re just burnt out or need to quit this job. Best thing to do now is to take a vacation or a little getaway. Sometimes taking a break from it all just for yourself can open your eyes up and give you the answer. If it is just burnout, then this will help you immensely. After your little break, go back to work and give it at least a week to see how you feel.

Time to Quit

You’ve had your nice little vacation from work, and you have been back for a week. Nothing seems to have changed; it looks like you jumped out of paradise right back into stress and exhaustion. You sort of feel like it’s even worse now that you’ve had a taste of how it feels not to be there anymore. This is an ultimate sign that it may be time to call it quits and move on. This job does nothing for you except the same old dreadful routine. However, before you quit make sure you have a plan B. Whether this job is your only income or not it’s crucial to have a plan, endure it for a little while longer while you search for a new job and once you have something to lean on then you can finally say goodbye.

It isn’t the easiest thing to distinguish between but when it comes to the question, are you burnt out or should you quit? There are always things you should think about before just deciding. Paying attention to your physical and mental health is important. Whether you are burnt out or not, jobs can cause us a lot of stress.
